Oneshot/short story

You walked around lazily in the ShinRa H.Q. not knowing what to do since Director Lazard hasn't sent you any missions yet. You then saw your friend, Kunsel, waving at you and you ran up to him.

"Yo Kunsel," you say giving him a high five.

"Bored?" he asked.

"Definitely, no one here to talk to, yes that includes Reno," you answer.

"Reno, he's out on a mission," Kunsel answered. Suddenly you felt someone rest his head on your shoulder.

"Oi, who said I was out on a mission?" Reno said sighing and you turned to see the red head.

You then jumped slightly, this made his head fall off your shoulder and –crash- he fell to the tiled floors. Kunsel laughed and you helped him up.

"Sorry," you answer

"That's fine, yo," Reno answered happily. "Oh yeah, Kunsel, don't you have something to tell _____?"

"Tell me what?" you asked.

"Oh, your room's being fixed by the renovators since Zack played ball there and, well, let's just say, the result was bad, very bad," Kunsel said and you groaned.

"I'm gonna so kill that guy, but first, where am I going to sleep in?" you asked.

"In my room, you'll be sharing a room with me, yo," Reno said happily and your jaw dropped.

"Oh my god, what is Director Lazard thinking?" you asked to no one in particular.

"How should I know," Kunsel said.

"For how many days am I going to stay with Reno?" you asked.

"Probably, two weeks," Kunsel answered and you groaned.

"Do you hate me that much?" Reno asked, obviously hurt.

"I don't hate you, it's just new to me," you answer, regretting what you said before.

"Got ya," Reno said and you growled at the red- head.

"Whatever; see you guys," you say, walking away.

Night Time

You walked out of the bathroom with some of Reno's old shirts and pants. Reno turns to see you and smiled.

"Cute, yo," Reno said and you chuckled.

You could see that he still wore his goggles and his usual ponytail, but Reno used baggy green pants and a green shirt. You never did know where those red tattoos under his eyes came from. You came close to him and touched the red markings and he blushed slightly.

"What are those markings?" you asked.

"My birth mark," he answered.

"Oh, cool," you say, flopping on the bed.

Reno just gets up, sets his goggles down on the table and lies on the bed. You blushed.

"What are you doing in the same bed?" you ask

"I only have one bed," Reno states and you groan. Reno merely chuckled

Five minutes later, you still can't fall asleep and you joggle Reno a bit.

"What?" Reno mumbles.

"I can't fall asleep," you answer.

Suddenly lightning flashes and you hug Reno from the back, which surprised him.

"You okay, yo?" Reno asked worriedly.

"Scared of lightning," you mumble.

Reno smiled. Then suddenly he turned his body facing to you.

"Look at me," Reno says and you look into his grey-blue eyes.

Suddenly he kissed you. You kissed him back passionately and his arms tightened around you waist.

Both of you broke it, panting for air.

"I'll make you go to sleep, let me help you get rid of your fears," Reno said.

You could only nod and you tightened your grip around his shirt.

"I love you, yo," Reno says, kissing your forehead lightly.

"I love you too Reno," you say.

And for once, literally, in your life you believed him, and no sooner than that both of you drifted into the clutches of sleep.
