Oneshot/short story

You walked- no, dragged- yourself to the locker slowly, eyelids half open. You hadn't got much sleep last night. You had been staying up doing a poster for the Musical and with your family's little photo session of 'Family Bonding', you had to stay up till 2 o'clock in the morning.

After taking out your books, you walked slowly towards your classroom. But you weren't seeing the way carefully and tripped against a girl's leg. You cursed mentally as your head hit the floor first, thank god your skull was as hard as metal (it was tested when Rai punched you on the head and you felt no pain).

You were about to get up when a boy graciously extended his arm towards you. You took it and came eye to eye with a guy with dirty orange-blonde hair and next to him, a ravenette. They were almost like twins, the only difference was their eye and hair colour, and of course, the auras they were emitting. The ravenette was dark, cold, and vicious, while the other was kind, sweet, and playful.

"Uh. . . Thank you. . ." you started to answer but cut yourself off.

"Ventus, my name's Ventus. Are you fine?" he asked, smiling slightly.

"I'm fine thank you," you answer politely. You quickly drew your hand away as soon as you realized he was still holding it.

"Oi, who tripped her!?" the ravenette screamed.

"It was just an accident," you answer to the other teen. He looked at you with molten amber-gold orbs and rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. Just trying to help," he answered.

"Sorry. Vanitas is always cold like that," Ventus said, ocean-blue orbs shining.

"No, it's fine," you answer before saying thanks to Vanitas and Ventus and scampering to your class.

-LATER ON-

The bell that signaled lunch rang and you walked to the music room while holding your lunch box in your arm. As soon as you opened the door, you saw the two boys that helped you this morning.

They stared at you with much shock and you stared at them the same way.

"Sorry to disturb you," you say before leaving. You suddenly felt a hand grab you and pull you back inside forcefully.

"If you came here to practice then practice, nobody is gonna make fun of ya anyway," Vanitas answered. He then sat down next to Ventus, who gave you a smile.

"Go on, it's fine," Ventus encouraged. You sat down on the piano and played a song called "A Song of Twilight". You loved this song ever since you were a kid and had always played it somewhere where no one could find you.

Small clapping sounded behind you as you saw your two 'friends' clap their hands.

"Can you sing?" Vanitas asked abruptly. You nodded; you remember a few of them like Hatsune Miku's duet with Luka Megurine on 'Magnet' or maybe One Directions' 'Up all Night'.

"Then why not try singing something with me?" Ventus suggested. Vanitas went to the piano and motioned for a song.

"'Magnet'," Ventus answered. Vanitas played and you smiled a little, catching a faint glimmer in Vanitas's eyes as he looked at you with a smirk.

"Kabosoi higa kokoro no hashi ni tomoru. Itsu no manika moehirogaru netsujou. Watashi no chou fukisoku ni tobimawari, anata no te ni rinpun wo tsuketa." You sang, your voice wasn't really high pitch but people said it was quite beautiful.

"Karami au yubi hodoite, kuchibiru kara shita e to. Yurusaranai koto naraba nao sara, moe agaru no!" Ventus sang his verse with a sweet voice.

"dakiyosete hoshii tashikamete hoshii, machigai nado nain da to omowasete kisu o shite    nurikaete hoshii miwaku no toki ni yoishire oborete itai no," you sang together with Ventus for the middle but another voice, a rather possessive and deep one, followed. It was Vanitas. All of you sang together, with Vanitas switching Ventus's part later and finishing the song.

"Wow, your voice is awesome!" Ventus said, happiness scribbled all over his face.

"Uh. . . Thanks," you answered.

"Oh yeah, you haven't told us your name yet," Vanitas answered, getting up from the piano seat and looking at you.

"Its _____," you answer.

"Okay _____, one request. Let's make a team in the Musical. You, me, and Vanitas there," Ventus suggests.

"Sure!" you answer happily.

"Let's call it 'Triple Note'," Ventus suggested.

"Sure why not," Vanitas and you answered together.

"So, what song are we going to sing?" you ask Ventus.

"'Magnet' sounds like a good choice, or not 'Cendrillion'. Or maybe 'Payphone' or 'Alligator Sky'," Ventus suggest.

"Your pitch is low, so we better go with 'Magnet' or 'Alligator Sky'," Vanitas said, pointing it out to you. "If I had known any better, you could sing like a male."

"I can," you answer and gave them a short preview.

"Well that was certainly . . . Shocking," Ventus answers.

"Yeah yeah, let's get to the preparations shall we," Vanitas said.

Apparently, you were the male singer for a while and had to be behind the curtains while the lights were low. You were paired up with Vanitas for a while, and then switched with Ventus, and then you were switched out while Ventus and Vanitas sang for another small part.

"Tomorrow, meet us at our house. Here is the address," Vanitas answered, handing you a sheet of paper.

"Um. . . Sorry but, our?" you asked the ravenette.

"We're twins," Ventus answers happily.

"O-oh. . ." you say, certainly shocked.

As soon as the lunch break bell rang, you and the boys ran to class. Your classmates would never know what hit them on the day of the Musical.

-DAY OF MUSICAL-

Finally, it was the day. You went to the auditorium backstage and saw two teens waving at you.

"So who's the first group?" you ask them. Ventus pointed to Roxas, Riku, and Xion.

"They're going to dance and they're going to be tough to beat since they all know awesome break-dancing," Ventus says.

"Well we're going to be better," you answer.

Your group waited and since you were last, you had time to practice. Ventus and Vanitas calmed your nerves as everyone finished and sat down on the auditorium rows (after they were done, they went to the audience's side and watched).

"Thank you Kairi, Riku, and Sora! Let's give them a round of applause everyone!" the announcer said and the audience cheered. "Now, for the finale today are some singers and believe me, they may shock you! Now let's give it up for 'Triple Note'!"

He went backstage and gave you 'thumbs up'. Suddenly, the lights dimmed and the intro for 'Magnet' came and you took a deep breath as you started to sing in a male voice.

"Kabosoi higa kokoro no hashi ni tomoru. Itsu no manika moehirogaru netsujou. Watashi no chou fukisoku ni tobimawari, anata no te ni rinpun wo tsuketa." You sang, while going up on stage. The spotlight fell on you. You had worn a cap to hide your gender, which really wasn't a hard thing to do since you had a flat chest.

"Karami au yubi hodoite, kuchibiru kara shita e to. Yurusaranai koto naraba nao sara, moe agaru no!" Vanitas sang in his husky low voice. The girls in the audience were immediately wooed.

"dakiyosete hoshii tashikamete hoshii, machigai nado nain da to omowasete kisu o shite    nurikaete hoshii miwaku no toki ni yoishire oborete itai no," you and Vanitas sang together, while clasping your fingers, on top of that you had gazed at him and he at you. Both of you made the girls love you even more Vanitas was replaced by Ventus and it carried on like that.

After it was finished, your group bowed but you were still a mystery to the audience.
The results were later announced.

"The winning team is. . . 'TRIPLE NOTE'!" the announcer said. You and your group were ushered on stage. Each of you got medallions and certificates and a check that won you 200 dollars each (yes that may happen).

After that, Ventus and Vanitas said some thanks.

"We just wanted to say that this group would have never been made if it was for our mystery guest," Ventus said before handing the mic to his twin.

"And I know you're all dying to know who it is. So without further delay, we present to you . . ." Vanitas held the mic in front of you.

"_____," you say in your male voice before opening you hat and letting down your long tresses, shocking everyone in the audience.

"But really, thank you," Vanitas answered to you in a low whisper.

"Yes, thank you," Ventus spoke in a low tone.

Then suddenly they kissed you on your cheek, gaining a loud "EEEEEEEH!?" from the audience.
